When we go through something uncomfortable, we might think we are the only ones going through it. The body of Christ (Christians) throughout the world is going through a challenge even now!

You are not the only one. I realized recently that Christians are connected in spirit; therefore if one Christian overcomes something then we all overcome. We are one body as a church.

Stop wallowing in self pity and focus on Jesus. Standing with other Christians, let’s realize we are fighting one battle. Encourage one another in prayer, in words and in actions. We are not isolated individuals; we are firmly held together in Christ and with one unity let’s press on.

You are not the only one going through an addiction, low self esteem or rejection. If you overcome believe it or not, a Christian somewhere has overcome too.

We are surrounded with a great cloud of witnesses, and therefore they cheer us on. Keep putting more effort and building your spiritual muscle (reading the word of God).

You are not the only one my friend.

So here you are celebrating the goodness of God after He did something ‘awesome!’ yeah you throw a party or even go for a thanksgiving service. Two days later something bad happens and you suddenly go from glory to shame.

We could be deceived that God no longer loves us, if things work against us. “Remember what He did” I say unto you. Yes, it was painful to see something bad happen, but hasn’t God done something good in the past?

If we allow situations to dictate how good or bad God could be, then we lose it and we could live frustrated. Remember what God did two years ago when you thought you would be crippled after that horrible accident, you went through hell but finally you won, and now you can walk.

The best thing one can ever do is, remembering the goodness of the Lord. You will receive strength to move on.

The life we live in can change suddenly from good to bad, from tears to joy, but one thing remain constant, ‘the goodness of God.’

Smile and remember what God did. Now stand up and encourage someone in this difficult phase of your life.

Who do you magnify? I mean if you magnify your weakness you will become even weaker, if you magnify your strength then a great warrior you will become.

Magnify your strength that is, God. Oooh that’s not easy though. Magnifying God means praising Him even in the midst of your struggle, now that’s hard.

It is hard to say “God is good” when you are hurting. It takes little strength however to say “God does not love me”

When we say the negative about God, we magnify the devil and thus fail in our walk as Christians. Magnifying God even in our problems means we are growing more mature in Him, and this makes Him smile down on us.

I will praise God in my downs and it is my prayer you will too. When we learn the art of always agreeing with God, we receive more peace and more spiritual strength.

I hope you will Magnify God More Today. Have a nice day.

“If we do not give up, we shall reap in due time”, so shall we and everybody say Amen!

But don’t we think that we need more muscle? Muscle for what? We need a stronger spiritual muscle. A spiritual muscle that will keep us from giving up and in the end let Jesus throw a party.

Jesus wants to throw a party for you, but the problem is that you are giving up! I go through moments where I feel there is no hope, it is dark and I feel God has kept quiet.

Keep moving, eye has not seen nor ear heard what the Lord has prepared for you. Please let Jesus throw a party for you. Keep holding on and keep fighting the spiritual war.

The devil knows you are destined for good, he however won’t allow it. Resist him and he will flee from you.

I am standing on God’s promises and so should you. Jesus wants you my friend to conquer.

Please allow Jesus to throw a party if you don’t give up.

Months ago when Hurricane Harvey hit Houston, Texas and things hit rock bottom. One man had the heat turned on Him. He was accused of not opening his Lakewood Church to displaced people and the world threw stones at him for not acting ‘godly’.

This man was Joel Osteen. He tried explaining to the world that they too were taking safety measures to ensure the church was not flooded, but they did not understand still.

He said the location of the church had a history of flooding and that taking people in could be risky. He later opened the church after He thought the time was right. The church hosted the displaced persons and it was well.

In the midst of this accusations, were Christians who in their own wisdom threw a stone at Him. It was as if Joel Osteen and them were on opposing sides. This was shocking to me, to see the church divided and disintegrating while the world cheered on.

The unity of the church is at stake, lets choose to stand by one another. Castigating other Christians or Men of God in a way that makes the church becoming a laughing stock should be avoided.

We are one body of Christ, sticking together at this times is more that important for the strengthening of the church. When we feel justified to shout down a fellow Christian, without first trying to understand them is a mistake we should avoid at all costs.

We should stand together to win more souls to Christ and not judge others. A true mark of Christianity is to Love regardless of anything or any circumstance.

When we are angry or in disagreement with someone, we most at times raise our voices. A couple of months ago I had this happening to me, I raised my voice to someone and it hurt them so much.

So as a good Christian I recognized my mistake, I repented to God and apologized to them. This led to me thinking that perhaps keeping my voice down would have helped. Honestly I just don’t think but I know that. Putting our voices down should be our priority especially if we get angry.

In this world where times could be uncertain, so much pressure and hurtful experiences could occur to all of us, it is important to cultivate this skill; putting our voices down.

It simply arises from being able to have self- control; a fruit of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is in us as Christians and the seed of self- control in us, so therefore let’s allow the seed to grow so that even the world may see it.

Putting our voices down requires discipline and we can all have that discipline by allowing the Holy Spirit to take control of us.

Put your voice down for the sake of peace. When we argue or quarrel we give the devil a foot hold, but being of a self- controlled nature brings peace to everyone.

Do I mean anything for this generation? I think constantly as I carry on with my day to day activities. I feel a fire burning inside of me and as fast as lighting my thoughts are awakened.

“I am raised for this generation”, my heart leaps for joy. I am raised for this generation, are you? I am raised to carry on the fire of Jesus and with the contagious effect let it out to the world.

I thought God was done with me, but I realized He has not and in fact He has only started. I feel my heart yearning more of God and craving for His love day by day.

We are on fire for Jesus, I am shaking off every weight and I am swiftly marching on to possess what belongs to the body of Christ. We are made of God and we will rise above ourselves and together focus on the author and the perfector of our faith.

In the world that no longer believes in living up for God totally, I choose to leave a trail and like never before shine the light of Jesus to the world.

You are raised for this generation, with shaking feet you wobble and with shaking hands you sweat. Do not get discouraged, those who wait on God will keep rising and their youth will be renewed.

We are raised for this generation, put on your strength and lets march to the victory of this generation. God is always with you my friend.

Those struggles need exposure, what do you mean? You ask rocking yourself back and forth in your not so bad swinging chair. Maybe you should now stop rocking and listen to this beautiful story.

My struggle with masturbation and pornography, has been something I have talked about in a couple of my articles. But today I am here to talk about my victory story, a story of patience and of waiting on God.

So during the August holiday after breaking for a two months holiday from university, I had a push to go to a youth conference and it was such powerful push that I just had to surrender.

It was a three day conference but I decided to go for one day, reasons best known to me (anyway that’s not the point). I sat there receiving from God through the amazing preachers who spoke in that period.

Amazingly that afternoon we were to have group fellowships, this means different young people of different age groups were to be put in groups and discuss with older men and women of God of their different challenges and to seek answers to some of their struggles.

So in that moment, I felt the Holy Spirit whispering to me to speak out concerning my struggle, and fortunately I did! I asked a simple question of how young people could stand against masturbation and pornography, and boom! As the men of God spoke I felt the power of the Holy Spirit transforming my life.

They simply told me and all the other young people to change the way we think, to focus our minds on God and allow the Holy Spirit to renew our minds. It was amazing because God has turned around my struggles to victory.

It is as simple as exposing it! What are you struggling with? Just find out older men in Christ or people who are grounded in Christ and share your struggle. Jesus is waiting on you to expose it, sin thrives best in secrecy.

May this article be a transformation to you. THANK YOU!

Moving forward and never looking back. As hard as the statement sounds, looking back should be a no- no. I mean if you choose to forge ahead, why are you concerned with what is behind?

I started looking back recently and the effect of that was unbearable. I was almost tripping off and falling into self pity.

Today I am focused, eyes on the price and firmly moving forward is the new ME! I started looking back at what had not worked and slowly I started losing the fight.

Remember Lot’s wife in the bible. He looked back and turned into a pillar of salt. Why a pillar of salt? May be you would know why. It means that when God commissions us to journey with Him, He wants us focused on Him and not get distracted.

Never looking back is my new motto. I am going to look at Jesus and not see the storm that surrounds me.

Jesus has gone before us and therefore we do not need to start looking back. As I you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, nothing shall be fall you and you shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Stand strong and do not dare look back!

So God was annoyed with Adam and Eve and He drove them out of the Garden of Eden.

This is the same God who sent His son to die for the disobedient man, interesting scenarios I must say.

He did it right. What right did He do? You ask anxiously. He was annoyed with man, but He did it right.

Learning from this turn of events, I have realized that when we say it wrong, we do it right. But God was justified to get angry? Yes he was, but He realized that reconciliation with man was important.

Life has its ups and its downs too. Learn to be able to do it right after doing it wrong. Be the person who reconciles with the past and shakes off their ego and does it right.

Someone said that, the things we do wrong can be covered by what we do right after the wrong. Lets learn that we are imperfect being and making mistakes is a part of us.

Slowly cultivate resolving your past with your present. If you wronged someone, do it right by apologizing or acting in a remorseful way.

We make mistakes but here is another chance to do it right.
